Born and raised in Watsonville (and third generation), he graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in Marketing. Since his graduation, John has worked in the corrugated container industry, which developed many contacts in Watsonville, Salinas and the San Joaquin Valley area. He worked in mortgage lending and, within the past 5 years, John incorporated real estate into his own business to be a top-producing REALTOR.

John is licensed Broker and member of the National and California Association of REALTORS as well as Santa Cruz County and Watsonville Association of REALTORS. His biggest accomplishment is the ability to give back to the community, especially the youth programs. As a Board of Director for Moreland Notre Dame School and the Jean & Ed Kelly Foundation, John as been able to raise money and be a voice for the betterment of our grade schools.

Edmund Scurich joins Summers & Scurich Real Estate Services after a productive career within the Agricultural Industry. Born and raised in Watsonville (and fourth generation), he graduated from Santa Clara University with a BA in Communication. Since graduation, Edmund has worked in the Fresh Produce Industry as a sales/marketing specialist and trainer to create sales opportunities and educate customers.

One of his main contributions to this company is marketing ‘outside the box’, which will go hand-in-hand with his Service-oriented work ethic. Along the way, he has made a great number of contacts in Watsonville and the Salinas Valley. Edmund is a REALTOR and member of National and California Association of REALTORS as well as the Santa Cruz County and Watsonville Association of REALTORS. In addition, he is member of the Knights of Columbus, and in his spare time, he enjoys coaching and working with kids.
